The fine print, in plain words
Event policies
These are the standard terms in every event agreement. Ask your coordinator about anything that doesn't fit your plans.
Deposits and payment
- A signed agreement and a 25% deposit of the estimated total (or the venue fee, whichever is greater) hold your date. Deposits are non-refundable.
- The remaining balance is due at the end of the event, on one card or up to four payments.
- A 22% service charge and Utah sales tax apply to all food, beverage and room fees.
Guest count and minimums
- Your final guaranteed guest count is due 7 days before the event. You're billed for the guaranteed count or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
- If spending falls short of the food and beverage minimum, the difference is charged as a room fee.
- Counts may increase up to 72 hours out, subject to seating.
Cancellations and date changes
- More than 30 days before: deposit is forfeited, no further charge.
- 14 to 30 days before: 50% of the estimated total.
- Fewer than 14 days before: 100% of the estimated total.
- One date change is free with 30 days' notice, subject to availability.
Timing
- Standard events run 3 hours. Additional time is billed hourly and must be arranged in advance.
- Setup access begins 1 hour before your start time; décor removal must finish 30 minutes after the end.
- Daytime events must fit within brunch service hours unless booked as a buyout.
Food and beverage
- All food is prepared by our kitchen. The exception is celebration cake or desserts: $25 per cake or dozen cookies for up to 8 guests, plus $3 per additional guest, which covers plating, cutlery and candles.
- No outside beverages of any kind, including water, under our liquor license. Wine or Champagne purchased in Utah that isn't on our list may be brought in for $35 corkage, two bottles per event.
- Menus are set 7 days out. Dietary needs and allergies can be accommodated with notice.
Alcohol service
- Under Utah law, alcohol is served only with food, from 11:30 AM on weekdays and 10:30 AM on weekends and state or federal holidays.
- Every guest who drinks must show a valid physical ID. Our team may decline service to anyone, and no alcohol may leave the premises.
- Hosted bars can be capped by dollar amount, drink count or time.
Décor and vendors
- Balloons, florals, tabletop décor and signage are welcome. No confetti, glitter, rice, sparklers or open flames (LED candles only), and nothing nailed, taped or pinned to walls or the flower walls.
- Outside vendors (florists, photographers, DJs, balloon artists) are welcome with 7 days' notice and must load in during the setup window. Amplified music is kept at a conversational level during brunch hours.
- Please take décor and personal items with you; we can't store them overnight.
House rules
- Children are welcome and must be supervised at all times.
- Trained service dogs are welcome; pets and emotional support animals are not.
- The host is responsible for damage to the space or furnishings caused by guests or vendors.
- Video and audio recording is in use on the premises. Guests may appear incidentally in our marketing photos; tell your coordinator if your event should be excluded.
